This is a mythical story, telling that a long, long time ago, the world was divided into four great continents: East Victory Divine Continent, West Cow Happiness Continent, South Abundant Part Continent, and North Entire Reed Continent. In Aolai Country of East Victory Divine Continent, there was a Flower Fruit Mountain, and on the mountain there was a divine stone. One day the stone cracked, and an egg rolled out from the stone. The egg turned into a stone monkey as soon as it met the wind, and its eyes shot out beams of golden light, and it bowed to all directions.
The monkey could walk and run, and when it was thirsty, it drank some spring water from the mountain stream. When it was hungry, it ate some fruits from the mountain. It spent its days playing with the animals on the mountain, having a lot of fun. One day, the weather was very hot, and the monkeys ran to the stream to take a bath to escape the heat. They saw the water gushing out, and they followed the stream to find its source.
The monkeys climbed and climbed until they reached the end, where they saw a waterfall that seemed to fall from the sky. The monkeys were amazed and discussed: “Whoever dares to go through the waterfall and find out where the water comes from without hurting himself, we will make him our king.” They shouted three times, and the stone monkey jumped out and said loudly: “I’ll go in, I’ll go in!”
